I Do…Weddings! Clients Kiss and Tell
Melissa, I have to let you know, Melissa, that Jak and I could not have envisioned a more PERFECT day. We were blown away by everything. I wanted to thank you so much because from our perspective, everything appeared to go off without a hitch. It was so surreal how perfect everything turned out. It was truly the most amazing day of our lives, onewe will cherish always. We have heard from all our friends and families (still) how beautiful our wedding was and how much fun they all had. We even had friends who danced more at our wedding than their own! For all this I wanted to thank you, because I know that without you, that day would not have been as perfect as it was (nor would my mom have been able to enjoy it). I just cannot express enough how overwhelmingly thrilled Jak and I were that day. It was a huge pleasure to have been able to work with you to make our wedding so special. With that, I wanted to share with you the pictures! We hope you enjoy browsing through them as much as we did (and continue to do!). Thank you again Melissa! And best of luck with everything!

Rachel, When my now husband and I first got engaged, I thought I had some idea of what it took to plan a wedding, AND, I thought there would be no reason why we would need a wedding coordinator as I was sure we'd be able to do it all ourselves. I mean, how hard could it be? Luckily, the Estancia La Jolla, where we got married, required us to have a wedding planner so that's where you came in. This was hands down, the BEST thing we could have done for planning our wedding and making the big day run smoothly. As we live in San Francisco and were unable to travel to San Diego to meet every vendor and make wedding planning decisions in person, Rachel constantly answered every email and question I had, making it so easy and enjoyable to choose vendors and make wedding decisions. I would not have had any idea where to start looking without her input and knowledge about recommendations and prices. Even if we had lived locally, Rachel's input would still have been just as valuable in helping to narrow down the many choices for all things wedding. As for the day of our wedding, at this point, we just wanted to have fun and relax and not have to worry about any planning details. With Rachel, that's exactly what we did- we were completely able to relax and enjoy the day knowing that she had everything organized! Thank you, Rachel, for all of your hard work and helping us make planning so much easier and fun, and the wedding one of the best days ever for us!!

In our wedding, the very first move was to find and secure the services of a wedding coordination specialist. We were referred to you and we were very pleased with your participation in our big day. A key aspect of any coordinator is the ability to rally all the vendors around the event while protecting the bride and groom from those types of questions and thought. In this capacity, you and your team were completely flawless. Keying in on the softer points of how she participated with my wife and I, my statement is that “I could not imagine that day without her meticulous yet kind participation.” I remember you magically being where you needed to be, when you needed to be there, but otherwise being a rather transparent presence. I also remember your knack for inconspicuous prompting as direct yet upbeat. The merits of the strong schedule blended with the gentle enforcement and smooth transitions were the backbone of the day and that is no exaggeration. A few moments that stick out in my mind… When you called me to make sure that I was on schedule that was huge, also at one point you wanted to be SURE that I was eating enough, at one point you even brought us appetizers.. I imagine in the world of wedding planners that there are organized people who lack charm, and charming people who come up short on detail. Rachel’s your true gifts in my opinion are the equal measures of both. You proved many times throughout the day that she regarded our time as special and sacred. You were a powerful force in our day and we feel that you shine as an event consultant and as a caring and sincere human. My wife and both feel that engaging your services were a priceless investment, and that no one else anywhere could have delivered better than what we received from you.

In case I didn't say it enough at the wedding... Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you for all your help. I don't know what I would have done without you! Andy and I were so pleased with the way everything worked out. It may be cliche, but it was a PERFECT day... and this was due in part to your coordination of the details. Other brides have told me that after the wedding they went through a period of "Wedding Withdrawal" since it took up so much of their time then its just over..... well, I think I may go through Melissa withdrawals also! You went above and beyond what you needed to do and made everything so special for Rob and I. You made sure that we always had just what we needed. From confirming all the vendors, making the rehearsal so smooth, the multiple text and pictures letting me know how the set up was going day of to the bottle of champagne and appetizers in the limo and to top it all off the rose petals, cake and champagne in our room (which was such an amazing surprise)!!!!!!!!!!! You were absolutely amazing!! I know I have told you this, but hiring you was quite literally the best money spent on our wedding. A wedding coordinator is the first thing I would recommend to a bride. Jason and I were able to enjoy our weekend with no worries about anything because we knew you were in charge.
