Where do I start when talking about this beautiful family? The picture above just speaks to how close they are. I recently coordinated Kristi’s wedding (the oldest, who was expecting her first baby days after her sister’s wedding) and was thrilled to be back on board for Briar’s big day. Briar married the kindest guy on the planet, Ryan, at Bali Hai restaurant and it was a stupendous party!

Many of the meetings I had for this Bali Hai restaurant wedding took place at the Bride’s parents’ home. They were always so kind and generous with me, and I just love their family dynamic! I’d leave each meeting with a huge smile on my face.

I just love the natural greenery on the altar. One of the best views of San Diego, in my opinion, is the view from the Bali Hai restaurant. How adorable are these two together? Love them!

Briar and Ryan really wanted to keep the focus on the outdoors. Their groom-designed custom cornhole boards and this incredible “kissing booth.” A second bar was set up outside Bali Hai for gusts to continue to enjoy the view as the sun set!

The details of the day were simple, but a perfect representation of the couple. In lieu of a guest book, guests signed Jena pieces, honoring the couple’s love of board games.

The bride is an incredible baker. Instead of a wedding cake, we had hundreds of donuts from VG Bakery! Briar and Ryan had a huge dancing crowd, and every single donut was gone! A sign of a good party!

Briar and Ryan, it was such a blast! I can’t thank you enough for another opportunity to work with you and your families again. I wish you all the best in the world!
